Where did you find those at, I have never seen those....they look very cool.
I would think there should be enough clearance. The jewel rings that I use are probably about as think as that cable is, so I would venture to say it would fit under the case top.
Good find man...
later!

i have always wondered why the people with the crystal cases didn't go to a round cable .. the flat ribbon cable showing through the case is such an eye sore .. i have some that are clear insulation so you see the bare copper wires in my pc .. you should have no issues with the different cable .. just making sure if fits under the case top ... maybe hack away at the dvd and hard drive holders so it has a channel to fit in and lays flatter ... just an idea ....

They already make them with el wire - pc modders use them all the time..

Eh, what can you do? Know what I mean? I came here from the PC modding community and have modded many cases in the past couple of years - I'm hoping to take that knowledge and apply it to my xbox's..

That's what I have in my pc
Actually, a cheaper place to buy things is svc.com - I buy from them quite often. _________________ Xbox v1.0 with

I have sold a few xbox's when people have requested them, they do look cool, the light-up ones don't look good tho, but perhaps thats just me, I like symmetry.
They fit in fine with the metal shielding removed, if you want to keep the shielding tho, then you have no need of a round cable. the clear ones sound cool tho.
I found this guy in hong kong that makes custom cold cathodes, was kind thinking of getting some that were the same size as the dvd drive and hard drive, they would not be too bright due to the length and would give a nice outline, he also said he could do one for the big X instead of el wire, but it would be in a few different parts as would be too dull otherwise.
The only problem was the minimum order as I had no idea how they would look or sell.
Shame really, not sure how they would interfer aswell, I know the inverters can cause video interference, but thats fixable.
