Hi , I am new to the forum and my problem is this: I have an original unmodded xbox , a usb adabtor and a usb flash drive. Downloaded SID 5.01 and AID 4.50 final ,read the pdf's. When I inserted the usb flash drive I had a message telling me that the unit was erased , which means the usb is compatible with xbox and has been formated. On my pc I used Xplorer360 to put the 2 files on it , installer.zip and 007AUF.ZIP , (the only game I found to rent). But on xbox , the only options I get is to personalize and something else. Can't see the 2 file on it.What I am doing wrong; (Sorry for long post and correct me if posted to the wrong place.)

Try unzipping them bro and then put them on the Drive.

The unzipped files have the same name UDATA. So I put the folders with numbers for names. But still I can't see anything.

I dont know man, there are some thumb drives that wont work.
Try a few types.

I copied a saved game from the hdd to the usb , and it recognized it!
Edit: I've got a strange problem. When the usb flash drive is plugged in xbox , I can see only the file I transfered from the HDD. When it's plugged in Vista pc , the xplorer360 can see only the files I've transfered within the pc! I am installing winXP (dual boot with ubuntu) and see if the problem remains.

I have tried 3-4 usb flash drives without any results. I can't borrow any more from friends and relatives. The list with the usb that work is useless , because flash drives from the same brand work and some don't. How I'm supposed to tell the difference before I buy one? Could anybody tell me a brand and model that worked lateliy ?

This is exactly what my action replay memory card was doing. I never did get the save files to show up. _________________

Did you managed to softmod it ? I think I'll use the case for media pc. There are some great dual atom ion mini-itx and I think they fit in the case.
