Well its not too difficult as long as you understand the basic process.
First of all we would need to know what modchip you are running if any.. Or if you are running a softmod what softmod are you running etc.
If you are running a modchip in your xbox you are in luck and will be able to easily upgrade your own hdd by just installing the new hdd into your xbox and using the Auto Installer Deluxe ISO (http://www.aideluxe.com) to automatically detect and format it.
If you are running a softmod you will need to use a program like CHIMP or simliar to clone your hdd using a pc. You will also need to know if your hdd is lockable if you are running a softmod.
anyway feel free to reply and ask questions, its why the site was designed.

ok, to start we would suggest using our own HQ Auto Installer Deluxe SERIES.. We always keep it up-to-date with all the latest homebrew apps, dashboards, emus and stuff.
Once you get AID you can follow the manuals or online video manuals on our AIDELUXE site and get support in our HQ forums. If you want some hands on support, try become a VIP member and donate to help keep our server & techincal support for the xbox 1 online.

My suggestion is mod with a chip. Softmodding is okay, but if something bad happens and the OS/BIOS is messed up trying to unbrick it will be very difficult.
I had a softmodded xbox, but accidentally deleted my bios. I ended up having to order a chip to fix it.
If you really want someone to take care of the chip for you. PM me. I will do all the work for cost. That includes shipping + materials. I enjoy tinkering and it's a hobby of mine. _________________ With knowledge, comes great power.

As long as you keep a copy of the Xbox eeprom.bin file there is not much that you cant repair on a softmod but in the long run the chip is a better way to go.
