I am having a hell of a time with the newest TECH XBMC build, I hadn't upgraded in a while (Nov 2008) but i wanted to upgrade my XBMC so I made a copy of my Userdata folder, and replced my old version with the current one no problems thus far, oh and by the way i used my X3 menu to do the ftping since XBMC is my dash. After I get done i reboot and get ready to FTP some other stuff and lone be hold I cant XBMC will not connect. My X3 Menu still works so I know its not my LAN port, and then i checked over my network settings in XBMC again and i see that there is no user name and i cant change it, my pass is fine. So i replaced the FilezillaServer.xml with one from 3 different older builds, No luck. I replaced my upgraded XBMC with the one i used to have and voila it worked agin, so i upgraded back again saving key files for use in the upgraded version of XBMC, and now I am back to square 1. This is driving me fucking crazy i can't for the life of me figure this out it works with DHCP but when i change it to static nothing. I use a crossover cable because I dont have a router and it always worked in the past why all of a sudden is it shitting out. Anyone??? _________________ v1.0, 300GB, X3 (Update In Progress)
