Release Notes:
Welcome to the first version of Xbox Media Center Installer Deluxe (XBMCID).
This is like a lite vesrion to Auto-Installer Deluxe, and will only concentrate on Xbox Media Center as the main Dashboard.
You can select which skins you want to install, install ThemePacks for certain skins, and ofcourse also install Scripts and Trainers.
If you have previously used Auto-Installer Deluxe, you should have no problem using this installer, if not, have a read of the included manual before doing anything.
Enjoy
Changes since AID v4.50 FINAL
* Removed: Emulators, Roms, most Dashboards and Applications
* Added: XBMC Application (9.04 Final "Babylon" revision 19947)
* Added: XBMC Scripts from SVN (revision 2509)
* Added: XBMC Skins from SVN (revision 2161)
* Added: XBMC Skin Project Mayhem III SE (revision 125)

Yea i'm glad its out as well, as its something I think will take off well, and since its pretty much the same layout as AID it should be easy to people to adapt to.
Seriously, most people these days only use their Xbox for XBMC and possibly Emulators. Even though XBMCID doesnt have Emulators, I feel thar more people are just wanting XBMC these days (myself aswell). Yes, Emulators are still cool, however I find myself spending more time playing the latest games on my Xbox 360 and Wii then worrying about heaps of old games. If i want older games these days, i'll just check out Xbox Live Arcade on the 360. (c'mon Shinobi lol).
Lastly, one the best things about XBMCID will be that the future Update Packs will be a lot smaller than what the AID Update Packs were. This was one of the main things I wanted to achieve this time around.
Anyways let me know what you guys think of it when you get the chance to play around with it...

Great package.. Very true about what most of us use our Xbox's for. Its my streaming box 99% of time and 1% for gaming.
Good pack and glad to see it with Babylon Final Xbmc. I think its cool to have scripts and skins on one disk. Does it offer PLUGINS? I find im using some of them but less since Im using playon app since it offers hulu.
Thx again for hard work and I will seed like hell.

Not as yet, but I'm sure it wouldnt be too hard to add them in an upcoming version (maybe a v1.1).
I'd need to do some research into them and grab a few, as I havent used them (I ususally just stream with it).

The video plugin are a must.I use about 6 of them now and again.
I just downloaded the newest skin for CONNECTED and is there a way to replace it into your xbmc disk?

Take a look at /Files/Skins/connected.zip on the ISO.

The newest version is Revision 2160. Once i download this torrent is it in a ISO or files that we compile with a app as I remember a long time ago whne I created a AID disk. Sorry its been a long time since I created a AID disk.

The easy way would just to be to make a connected.zip file (which you do by zipping the skin at its folder, so its contents will be Connected/skin.xml).
The system I'm using this time around for XBMC skins is a lot different now too, they're based inside the ISO instead of a huge seperate addon pack (this the way I'll be able to keep update packs smaller in future).
