i just baught a second hand xbox with a tower mod for 2 more hdds and xecuter 3
all the tutorials tell me to SIMPLY navigate through certain x3 menus but my xbox boots straight to unleashX.
another problem is i cant boot up with the microsoft dash cos i get hdd not locked error. i tried to lock hdd with avalaunch but it says cant lock unless it unlocked it.
It is version 1.6 with 80gb hdd unleashX
i want to be able to
1. change the boot up message on my lcd screen
2. fix the microsoft dash
please help

Have you tried holding the white button while it boots to get the X3CL dash?
Has the chip been flashed and if so with what BIOS?

slayers or aid can lock/unlock your hdd and inatall a different dash on boot up.

for the life of me i couldnt find out how to boot it up, to think it was that simple
its amazing the features it has, ive had a chipped xbox before but this one can customize the bios, format an hdd, change the start dash and lots of other cool features, it even locked my hdd for me
im glad i baught this BEAST

Cant beat the X-3, combine that with XBMC and you got one hell of a work horse on your hands.
