okay so I have been trying to find some help with some simple things
I have an xecuter 3 ce mod chip installed with all the lights working
my version of xbox is 1.1
when I power up the xbox it goes to the flash bios screen but I cannot seem to load the bios I have down loaded I have tried from a cd as well as the http way both are supposed to be a breeze but have yet to be that
when trying to load from cd it says waiting for disk drive
when I try it from http it says wrong file size
I have also downloaded the auto installer delux 4.4 but I cant get that one to take either

Ok so we are up to 3 post on this now, did you try my suggestion from one of the other post "As long as your xbox is not a 1.6 use the x3.3294.bin BIOS and set the switches to on on off off" let me know if this helps and try to stick to this thread.

I did try what you suggested
still the same results
wrong file size
I have the hard drive unlocked
not sure that I need that being I am trying to flash the bios of the mod chip
just trying to give as much info as possible
not sure if I am loading the right file extensions
I did not find the .bin file just a .rar file
sorry for bouncing around just been trying to read all the forums for help
I will stick to this thread from now on

Oh so you did not no that you need to extract the BIOS.bin from the rar format, that is your deal then bro.
Get a copy of wizip or winrar and extract the rar man.
If you need a copy of the BIOS in ISO format so you can just burn it to a disk let me know and i will send it to you on skype or what ever IM you use.
Hang in there bro and i will get that xbox running.

Like I said help for the inexperienced
I have updated the bios
now when I power on my xbox I hear the Microsoft sound
and only get no video signal
I have unziped the auto installer deluxe have have bunt the iso on a dvd
trying to figure out what my next step is
I am reading the manual that came with the auto installer it seems to indicate that all I have to do is put in the iso dvd and it should run is that right

Yeah if you burnt the AID ISO to disk all you should need to do is pop it in and wait for it to boot as it can take a long time, so your not getting any video?
Try rebooting the xbox and hold the white button while it is booting and tell me if you get any thing.

I left the xbox running for an hr with still no video
I reboot it holding down the white button got the audio again but still no video as of yet
with the disk in
I am wondering if I need to use only an original xbox controller or if that matters

Sounds like you AV cables or you set it to PAL, might try enigma video switch.

got it I selected the wrong file from the unzipped bios
I just restored it to original and re flashed it to the right file
I am off and running reading through the manual for the auto installer deluxe

next hiccup
I relaised that I was trying to load the auto installer from a dvd+r
instead of a dvd-r some kind of error happend when burning to the new media and it was my last one
I tried to burn the iso to a cd-r and I still have nothing
so at this point i can only see my new bios page any ideas as how to get that iso onto my xbox

The x3cl screen you see should have a tool built in to prep the HDD and add the partitions so use that and FTP the xbox to add an extracted copy of AID.

I formatted and prepped the hard drive from the options
I do not know how to FTP the xbox in order to load the file

Yeah man follow the gide posted by BuddyHiggins but keep in mind that you dont have a dash so use the X3CL as your dash, your IP will be at the bottom of the X3CL screen and your user name and password are both X3.

okay I got the FTP to work
I am assuming by looking at my screen I need to just drag and drop
to get the file over to the xbox not sure if that does an install though
