tried upgrading to the new xbmc and i think it messed up now i have a xbox that boots a little to the xbmc screen then frezees i can't ftp to the box either. i don't know what to do ..someone suggested getting the aid disk and try reinstalling it..which i am going to try in a hour or so once it finishes.
i knoe its not bricked cause it boots also if i press eject it shows code 21. i have a 160 wd hard drive in it right now..might still have the original in the basement somehwere currently looking for that as well. what are my options right now?

Error 21 is from files in the C drive getting whacked so get AID and do the reinstall and if it wont boot that the old HDD should get you out of any jams.
Post back after you try AID and we can go from there.

yeah burned the dvd n then tried booting into but it won't pass the xbmc screen ..seems to freeze there..so no chance to reinstall or anything..now its been a wihle since i exploaited the drive...any chance you know how i can go bout using the old drive to mod everything..like i have the original hd n i have 160 gig hard drive that used to work but now it won't pass the xbmc screen.. no i don't have a chip in it.. used some mech assault save n memory card n upgraded the drive..

alright seem to to rebuild the drive with the xboxhdm and now i have aunleashx+ndure anda pretty ugly gui on the xbox now i wanted to install aid disk to the xbox n i did the update and everything got an iso about 1.27 gigs
when i put the dvd in the xbox it shows the disc empty but it plays other backup dvds or movies.. thanks for all your help its been great

What APP did you use to make the ISO and what APP did you use to burn the disk?
