Ok I'm trying to use chimp to install a larger HDD, problem I'm having is chimp seems to freeze, I have deleted all the cache from E and the other drives, I have tried all the buttons on the controler but nothing happens and the only way I can get out of it is to do a manual power off and on. I have checked the files the chimp I installed from the aid disk has 4 files and the chimp on the site for download has 6 or 7, are the other files needed. Or am I just being a noobe..
Sorry forgot to add box is Ver 1.0 and loading through SID and Evox doesn't matter

At the main Menu where all your options are. You do use the controller to select your options don't you?

no have checked none of my controlers are original MS ... so thats the prob is it

Ok got a proper MS controler, chimp worked as tut said, now am a proud owner of a 250 gig xbox THANKYOU ALL
