I recently softmodded my xbox by hotswapping the harddisk and installing the Ndure pack.
I now run my xbox v1.1 with unleashx565
it all runs great i can ftp games and play them etc,
but when i burn a dvd it won't play (tdk +r), i first thought it was the dvd format (+r) but now i borrowd a copy from a friend (that plays on his mod-xbox) but it also won't play.
i can't even browse through the dvd.
i tried evoX 3935 but also no result

i cleared out al the drives and folder
i played a copied game for only 3sec.
then i rebooted just to see and the game won't play anymore.
i looked at x y z and e\cache but they where still empty,
i just restarted my ftp connection and i now see three cache files in e\cache
cleared it, but still won't play really weird

yeah just that one time, now it won't play the burned dvd at all.
but everything else still works

Different brands of Xbox DVD drives play different types of media. Try a -R. I have had many drives play one and not the other, heck the thompson drive plays both...or neither. Depends on which one you get. Try changing the media type.
