I was looking into a mame cabinet, but figured I can connect my modded xbox to a cabinet already, no need to use a computer. Anyone connect a trackball to their xbox? Maybe a light gun? I have an xbox gun. Is there a wiring diagram for the xbox controller? Or have people done this and gave up?

A track ball is just a mouse so i guess it will work as well as one and as for the light gun they make light guns for the xbox but i have never used one.
By wire diagram are you looking for the controller guts or just what wire from the controller is for what?

You can connect a mouse to the xbox? Or have to make one? I was looking for the wiring setup incase i wanted to make a trackball. They sell some kind of arcade stick for PS2 then you get a converter to xbox. its still 150, just wondering if i go to the computer store and get a trackabll, i see thats how they do it in a mame cabinet project. I dont see making a whole cabinet for a golf game or centipede with a ball. thanks for any info

Yeah man the xbox controller is just a USB device so you will hook red to red and so on but the yellow wire is for the light gun so its not needed but i cant say for sure other then XBMC what all APPs can work with the mouse.
