I have a question and it's. Do you need to use MSDN 2003 to use the XDK or can I use 2008 because I'm running Vista on my computer, or do i need to use XP?

it should work, with any one in vista, try the 03 if that doesn't work, then go to da 08 one

Hi, you will need to have MS Visual Studio .NET 2003, MSDN is not necessary, which is the help for VS.
I would recommend that you get everything installed on a Virtual machine using Virtual PC by MS so that you don't mess up with your working environment.
