My xbox's dvd tray won't stay shut. It automatically ejects almost everytime i close it whether there is a disc in it or not. any suggestions as to what might be wrong with it?

It sounds like you may have something wrong with your drive tray motor. _________________

if the motor is bad, why does it constantly eject?

I suggest you open it up. You cant really do much if you view it from the outside. That is if you havent already viod your warranty sticker.
Dont forget to never touch the laser!
