Hi Names DG
Found my old modded xbox out thought i would put under TV to watch divx movies anyway it seems my evox dashboard has gone along with all the useful bits.
Looked through the settings it shows Bios unknown ??
However it still plays all my old games.
In the process of D/L AID will this put new dashboard on or do i need to do something else.
Have executer 2 chip
No idea how to ftp to box so hoped disk would work.
Can i burn iso onto dvd+r as i have no minus disc.
Lot of questions hope somebody may have an answer or help

Hey there DG and welcome to the HQ.
1)The AID disc will allow you to choose from a few different dashboards
and you can install them without having to redo any modding. AID will
simply put the dash in and keep all your old info intact.
2)AID will do all that for you, you need nothing else.
3)You will need a crossover cable to hook up your PC to Xbox for FTP.
4)Yes, you can burn ISOs to (+R) and (-R).
I never use FTP, I invested in some DVD+RWs so I can reuse with new ISO images. Reason being: Personally, I never liked FTP. I use Qwix101 to burn ISOs of any Roms and skins I want. Then I use DVDDecrypter to burn the ISO and then load it to the XBOX. Simploe as that. No networking with FTP needed. Hope this helps. _________________

Read the PDF document start to get updater ready burned to dvd+rw then found my samsung drive will not register the disc
This brought back memoerys of my first burning session and getting angry because disc were turning to coasters
Anyway trying to find DVD-r to use so still not quite there
Cant believe the info on here or how excited i am at trying to get the old box working
