and im talking the new blank bios chip...you wouldnt be able to do anything with it without a programmer and those are costly

depends on what kind of bios chip you get...some cost about 40 last i checked but that was over a year ago so im unsure as of right now

any one u want but first u have to disable flash protection and make sure, it's the right bios for ur verison of the xbox

Ok so the original post was for someone who wanted to know more about flashing the tsop. Why? In your profile you say you have the xbox chipped. Is this another xbox you're talking about? Flashing a tsop is dangerous and i would keep away from it.

Easy method - Softmod
Hard method - Chip (solderless)
Harder Method - Chip (soldered)
Mental & must be raving mad method - tsop flash

With the AID disc to do the TSOP flash they are no harder then the chip but why dig up a month old post to warn him, if he was going to do it im sure he has already had a go of it.

Yeh your probably right, why dig it up. I wonder what he did?

By the way i was meaning soldering the tsop and not with aid. WIth aid 4.5 you can only flash the tsop with a retail bios and nothing else.

Soldering the flash enable points isnt that hard, if you havent got a steady hand or your soldering skills aren`t that hot you can use a kit for repairing the element on heated rear windscreens, if you wanna be proper cheap you can even draw a line between the two points with a soft pencil, something like a 2B
