Hi there,
Is there or are there any plans to release a BBC Micro / Acorn Electron emulator for the Xbox? I know BeebEm is the best one out there but only available for PC and Mac... Would love to relive my childhood memories of playing Chuckie Egg and Jet Set Willy!
Regards

Since the xbox is dead there is very little being put out for it so my guess would be no they wont make that for the xbox but who knows for sure right.

there isnt a bbc /acorn emu for xbox but if you want to play games like chukky egg, manic miner, jet set willy...then just use the vice64 emu(commodore64).there is also vic20,spectrum and amstrad emus.
heres the newest version of vice 64.

in the next couple of weeks there is going to be a new updated mame for xbox getting released and a new version of fbaxxx with a tonne of new games to play like powerdrift, galaxy force2,turbo outrun......its gonna be good.

I'm 30 you cheeky monkey! Games took half an hour to load back then. They don't make them like that anymore that's for sure. I'll check out the C64 emu which sounds like a compromise although it's not really the same. New version of Mame sounds exciting too. If someone was to port BeebEm for Xbox then I'd be over the moon though.
Just been playin about with them in windows , dosbox & b-em.
They run together with no problems, I`ll try it on the xbox tomorrow

Tried the Dosxbox and B-Em thing.. didn't work. Just get a black screen when you try and run the B-Em program. Unless anyone can get it working or think of an alternative then I'll just give up I think!
Such a shame as a decent BBC Micro emulator would be perfect for the Xbox.
