Hi again all. Ive had my xbox modded for awhile now. I have a softmod that is working fine. and another that i modded with xecuter 3 everything was going fine with it. I up dated to the latest tech build. Now i have some HD videos that im trying to watch and they seem to cut and stutter but its only the video. the audio plays back fine. I tried to up the cache on the HD and it isnt helping at all. I stream all the files through smb. any ideas?

i did that i also found this....http://ask.pvrblog.com/2004/10/quality_of_hdtv.html
which kinda goes along with a lot of other stuff that i have been reading. It looks like even to get the 720 you have to rescale the video and drop frames im going to try this later tonight and see what i can come up with. I was hoping to get a raw 720 at 60 fps i guess that in reality that is just not possible.

ok converted a couple of vids..... conclusion not worth it at all!!!! total time was about 14hrs and the resulting quality is really really good, just not for the time invested. I did a bunch more reading on converting the media thinking maybe there was a faster way. I havent found one yet. Its a little unfortunate that the xbox cant physically convert the new HD stuff. I guess it has hit the wall. Any tips on how to do this faster are very welcome.
