Hey there. I have an Xbox that I started a format, it completed, but before I could install dash, I lost power. So now I get an error screen with no error code.
I should be able to hot swap and unlock drive still right? Than just copy dash board files back on? I know the partition structure is still intact.
Thanks

Are you using a softmod? you probably are, well u can do a hotswap but were u smart enough to backup your eeprom? if so then it should be extremely easy...but if not it is challenging to get the timing right and if u dont do it right u could leave the hdd unloced and then its pretty much shit so be careful and dont turn off the power to ur xbox UNTIL the cables are in _________________

Can't I just hotswap when the giant X closes, copy the dash board back, put ide back on xbox than turn off xbox, and should work? than load AID disk and start over?

You can but there are risks...if the power goes off before u have the ide cable on the hdd then u broke it...but if u have the eeprom then it should be simple _________________

Ok so I assume there is an automatic shut off, if there is this type of failure? How much time do I have before it powers off?
