As long as the movie file is less then 4GB you can do it just fine.

Cool, thats just what i wanted to hear.
Does the usb stick need to be formatted in a certain way for xbmc to recognize it? _________________ Opinions are like arse holes, everybody has one and your's stinks.

The following file-systems are supported on Mass Storage devices in XBMC:
* FATX
* FAT12 (read-only)
* FAT16 (read-only)
o Including VFAT support for long file-names.
* FAT32 (read-only)
NOTES! Not all USB flash drive support the 'USB Mass Storage Device Class' standard
So only USB mass storage device can XBMC read _________________

Thanks v. much wes & tec, that clears that one up.
I have my xbox hooked up to a wireless router but have to disconnect my computer from the internet in order to connect to that one (can't do an easier set up), so putting films on a usb will make things a little easier. _________________ Opinions are like arse holes, everybody has one and your's stinks.

I have not done much research with any homebrew methods, but codejunkies makes a nice item to use for that as well as transfering pretty much anything to/from 360hdd called the Xport.

Yes, you can transfer/use any game saves from Xbox to 360 and they are usable as long as it is a comp. game. Works nice when running out of hdd space as well. You can use your pc/laptop or an external drive for storage. _________________ XENIUM ICE 300GIG CUSTOM DVD
