Hey, I wanted to appologize for posting my needing help bad topic more than once. I was just a little frantic that the steps that i took did not fix my problem. I just really want to know what i have to do to get my xbox to work again. I don't know what i did wrong with the xboxhdm to make it go to the customer service screen. Any way sorry and thanks.

Personally when I had that problem I just reran the soft mod. Followed Wes video on installing it. I had all my system files from C and E backed up and copied them over and I was right where I left off. I think it took me maybe 10 or 15 minutes. IF you didn't and you are able to use the soft mod, install your favorite dash either off the AID disk or copy the files over manually via FTP.
After your back into your dash of choice just tinker around and make sure everything works. If not repair whatever appears to be having issues. When I had that funky message I'm pretty sure my dash was wacked out.
None the less make sure you backup your important C and E files via FTP period. You do not want to loose important files and you do not want to loose your eeprom.bin file. Ok well before i tried to reformat my c drive with xboxhdm i tried to reinstall my softmod and it didn't work. And as far as if it reads games, i have no idea, i haven't tried. Personally i was too mad that I had followed exact steps and they ended up messing it up more lol. But I was going to copy my EEprom and C drive but i had only had the system a day or so and a friend accidently clicked on live while trying to reset it. I didn't make this particular system, i have back ups of all of my other systems but not this one. I contacted the guy i bought it from to see if he can send me the eeprom and c drive but he hasn't emailed me yet.

i'm havin a similar problem when i boot the xbox using the power button it works fine and boots to xbmc dash but when i boot using the eject button i get the error contact customer service and the number 21 in the left top corner. Does it mean my xbox has been banned or is it just the dash having problems
