i just soft modded my xbox yesterday and i followed all of the turtorials and im trying to used flashfxp to connect the xbox to the pc but when i type in ip address and the u/n :xbox and p/w xbox it says connection failed what am i doing wrong i tried to connect to the router to pc that didnt work and then tried to connect to a another computer that is not hook up to the router that didnt work what am i doing wrong can someone help me out

Did you set the xbox to DHCP IP in the dash settings, and what dash are you using?

Dont make a new topic to answer an open thread, and the option to turn on DHCP is in your Evox settings.
On the evox main screen go to your settings and look at you IP info and the option should be around in there.

my fault about the topic thing , Nope I dont see anything with DHCP all i see is ip, default gateway, dns, static ip enable its not there

If you set use static IP to NO you will be in DHCP mode so just change that.

Like i said here, just set the use static ip option to no and you will be running DHCP.

yea i did that i told it no then i save it turn the system off then turn it back on and i still see no DHCP
