The tutorial never mentions which wire from the front panel to use for the + voltage. I looked into it and found which wire goes to + of the power switch:
Front panel connector is the one with all yellow wires
Looking down at it from the front of the xbox it is the lower left connection.

This has to be one of the most useful mods especially if you mess with ROMS alot or are too lazy to walk over to your box to turn it off or on. _________________ XBOX v1.3

It's actually easier than installing my modchip was. I already had some of the push buttons laying around and the dremel made things alot easier. Don't mess with the more complicated video switching method. Just connect the yellow controller port wire to the + of the power switch. I took some pictures but they came out all blurry...cheap ass camera. _________________ XBOX v1.3

The Dremel comes in handy with a lot of case/ controller mods!!
Wal-Mart has a cordless one for less than $40.00
I just use my wife's. She runs a Nail Salon out of our lower level of our home. She has one that she uses to file acrylic nails down, so I just use hers. It has serious power..HA.
Actually i have found a tutorial to put a reset switch in your memory card(im sure it would do the same thing).I've been planning on trying it but havent got the chance to get a memory card(like i need one) with the 150+ gigs right now,but heres the site for anyone who would like to see/try.... http://411gb.50megs.com/reset.htm , plus on that site it shows you how to hook up 3 HDD's on 1 xbox, pretty amazing. _________________ Xbox Version 1.0
