So I just got an old V1.0 XBOX that has one of the good Hitachi LG DVD drives that will read anything. Thing is, my friend wants to buy it, but I want to switch the DVD drives out somehow and keep this one for another XBOX. He doesn't need anything more than a regular XBOX dvd drive. What all is involved in switching DVD drives if I even can? _________________

Just swap them, you can put any disk drive from an xbox in to any other xbox unlike the HDD.
