Hello everyone,
I have used this forum in the past when i modded my first xbox, and that was almost a year ago. Unfortunately when I moved out of state I left my XBOX behind for my brother and have recently procured a 1.6 XBOX that I would like to mod.

Previously I used a HyperX solderless chip, the AID DVD and some help from HypnotiX and got the xbox running great. I am finding now that I cannot find the HyperX chip or really any chips in the US, and I am looking for advice on what I should do. I am not really looking to softmod, and I dont want to spend too much on a chip if I can help it.

Any of your advice would be excellent.

Just find scarface, he has a thread on here ware he is selling a few chips.

He would be your best bet.

I agree with wes, scarface is the best way to go for chips now.

If you got a 1.0-1.5 xbox you could tsop it and it would be just as good as a chip, so thats an option as well (that is if you want to spend the money on another xbox).

For the time being, I softmodded the xbox using the SID on this site. Can I use the AID dvd to install other things not included in the SID install?

Yes you can install other stuff using the aid disk. Just make sure if your installing a new dash use the softmod dashes not the hardmod ones.
