Posted: Sun Mar 02, 2008 7:54 am Post subject: Xbox/xbmc crashes on splash screen.
Im using the newest AID and SID. I have two xboxs that I added in 120GB and 160GB HD, both were working fine, now both freeze on XMBC splash screen. (I believe they were unplugged for few hours and need time/date?) Evo, Unleashed work fine. Im using One Click install with single dash and virtual C. I have tried a bunch of stuff, but still freezes. Any ideas would be greatly appreicated.

Welcome to the xbox-HQ man, we hope you enjoy the site.
If the xbox will still boot the aid disk on power up use it to check your E cache folder and delete anything in it.
If that dont help let me know and we can go from there.

I made sure to read as many post before posting myself, I did clear the cache and still gave me the same problem.

You can try clicking the XBMC svn guide under my sig and get the new xbmc build and see if thats the prob, sometimes aid mucks a dash install so try getting the dash from e there and if that wont help you might need to get a different dash and see if it works.
