Hey guys, I need some help.
I've tried to make my own action replay device, but I'm not having much success. I've followed the tutorial at xbox-linux and other sites (this thread), but it's still not working for me.
When I plug my cable and memory stick into the xbox, the light on the memory stick lights up... great, so it's getting power. However, once I got to the 'Memory' menu, the light on the memory stick and the screen itself start flashing. I thought maybe it was trying to format the memory, but it does this forever!
Any advice? Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply!
I checked and am 99.9% sure it is compatable, but I think my next step is trying out a different memory stick.
Is the 'blinking screen' an indication of an incompatable memory unit?

Just might be or if you have any other info on the stick it can mess with it so make sure there is nothing on it but the sid installer and your save exploit.
And yeah try as many as you can.

At this point, there is nothing on the memory stick. It's formatted as FAT32. From what I understand, the xbox will format it to fatx when it's plugged in, but it never happens.... just 'blinkblinkblink'

xboxhdm is a program that allows u to format HDDs for XBOX and install all files to create and XBOX HDD from scratch.
A router is the easiest way to go. I like using FlashFXP as my FTP client. BulletProof FTP works pretty well too. No, u don't have be connected to the internet but obviously ur gonna have to download the FPT program off the net like at downloads.com You can pick up an ethernet cable pretty cheap at ur local computer store like Frys Electronics. _________________

One last question....
I don't think this is a problem, but my dash isn't up to the latest version. I don't think this is the reason why my memory stick isn't being read, but just throwing it out there.
Has anyone else made an Action Replay, and had problems with the memory stick? What kind of response did you get back from the xbox??
