alrite guys, heres my problem. when i burn avi files to a dvd-r using Nero 7, the disk plays great and all but after i pause, fast forward, rewind, or skip a chapter, the sound is gone. then i have to go all the way back to the menu to start the movie over again with sound. WTF?? lol

I know its not my DVD's b/c they work fine with a different software but no matter what kind i buy, nero sitll gives me this problem. any advice??

For dvds just dont make avis out of them and use dvd shrink to cut them.

Yeah i got the zune sound to sync up by useing divx insted of avi.
I tryed running avi on dvd svcd and all that but the sound keeps getting lost, i find the onley way for me to run avi is right of the pc or with xbmc smb share and the sound works fine.

But like i said the best for dvd backup is just to dvd shrink it and that way you get a good pic and sound.

Avi just cuts the frames down to much to save space.

I found it better to convert AVI to MPG and it runs better in DVD players. Like I said, I like to use WinAVI converter. It'll convert everything.

CUCU has got some good software, i use Total Video Converter myself.
Cost you some cash but well worth it since it turns any format in to any format and its fast. Wink
