so what happens after you set the time and hit ok? You should beable to hit ok to save the changes. The reason you have to reset the clock is that instead of using an internal battery, the xbox uses a capaciter. So it only has enough juice to save the time for about 3 hours. _________________

You may have the wrong .xbe for your bios. If a bios does not find its .xbe of choice it will boot MS. Depending on what bios you have it will want to boot evoxdash.xbe, avalaunch.xbe, etc... If you have a newer bios you probably have an .ini file you can use to specify your desired .xbe.wn
If evoxdash.xbe fixes your problem, and you want unleashx or something else to boot, download xselect9. Rename the .xbe to evoxdash.xbe and program xselect to pull up the wanted dashboard.

so you wanna ignore what that guy said. Hes talking about something with a chipped box. I'm gonna unplug my box before I go to work today and see if I cant figure out what you should do. Its been so long since my xbox had been unpluged that I forget what exactly you have to do. _________________

Unplugging a softmodded Xbox for a period of time shouldn't cause it to go to the MS Dash. I agree it'll reset the time etc, but it should still boot without any prob.

Well..... Its offical, My xbox is better then all of yours I had it unplugged from the time of my last post 11 pm to now 6pm and after 18 hours, I plugged it in and turned it on and no clock setting screen. The time is even correct. I think I have it set to automaticly set the clock though. I have no idea how I did it. I guess if my ethernet cable wasnt plugged in it woulda asked me. Oh well. You should just beable to set the clock and hit A to save the changes. No reset needed. _________________
