I recently put an X-chip inside my X-box I ran a few diffrent bios'z and they all took good had a little prob FTP in but got it. I have a problem w/ X-box Live I jumped too soon I did not program the chip to disable prior to signing on. Do I need to replace the Eprom or can I ) Flash it with a program. Please any assistance will be appreciated... I hope I can just FLASH IT.

u can flash it but you need a new eeprom ,
from an xbox that isnt banned

Ok to flash it with a good eprom you must first ftp in? Then after that how do you change the Eprom's? Are your gamertags banned as well S$%it I am paying for them ... Thanx for the replies

As of right now, they are banning people off of XBL even with their chip off. They're also banning xbox's that have new eeproms cause of serial numbers on their harddrive or something. Actually, they're not sure how M$ is doing it, but they know that people with new EEPROM are getting rebanned. We think it has something to do with having a large hard drive.
Anywho, I would suggest waiting until we know whats going on and how to get around it before wasting a good eeprom. _________________ Xenium (thanks Porche)

Yepper, XBL banning is somewhat of an enigma right now.
I would hold off and not log onto XBL until the method to the madness is better understood right now.
