ok, so here's the deal.
I would first like to point out I HAVE NEVER BEEN ON XBOX LIVE.
I have a mod done by RealMccloy. I got Halo2 and wanted to play on live with my two month trial subscription. I launch the MsDash, the Chip is off (can tell cause of the color of the lights) and Halo2 starts. I wanna start to play a campaign and BAM it has a profile for "RedJello" under the Campaign heading.
This freaks me out as I have never been on XBL before, and its a brand new game. For a while there I tried to learn French, but I removed that idea from my head. Its been deleted and my chip is off. Should I still be worried and is there anythign else I can do? _________________ Xenium (thanks Porche)

If the chip is off, you should be fine bud
Just be careful if you ever play it off the HD with the chip enabled...make sure you pull out the networking cable from the xbox so you don't accidently log onto XBL.
MS Is getting tricky and sometimes certain games will try to autolog you onto live.
But, if you have the LED the correct color and you are booting to the MS Dash, you should be fine.

How was my name already on the halo2 thing then? Thats what freaks me out. Have you already been online with Halo2? I just don't wanna get banned, because apparently EEPROM Flashing isn't working anymore. Since the leak of H2, (ive been readin up on this) people are getting banned (Cheez_puf for one) with their chips off. They're doing some new kinda scan or something. Would it be worth me just putting my stock HD back in to play XBL. That would get hella annoying, but I really wanna play XBL _________________ Xenium (thanks Porche)

Not sure how your info was showing already..
So, you have NEVER played on XBL before??
That is weird.

i had the same issue with halo s. the profile that mine loaded was my halo 1 profile aperently it works on halo 2 .... _________________ SE HALO XBOX v. 1.6
