If you download the new xbmc svn build thay have add a bunch of new Visualisations in the last few months.

i have one the latest ones, it has about 10 .viz files but a lot of them are a bit erratic i'm looking for a smoother "lava lamp" type one. If such a thing exists.
in fact a lava lamp screensaver for xbmc would be amazing, or aquarium!

I like the new screen saver myself the one that looks like swirling water that thing is nice has a kind of lava lamp feel.

Subversion, a revision control You can find the new svn build here http://217.118.215.116/ a new build hit just a few days back and made a news post but it wold seem that poor ol hobbs has been up to his eyes in crap to do.

will do,
but heres something i want to sort out, heres the scenario:
laptop connects to internet via wi-fi
laptop connects to xbox via ethernet
whenever i connect my laptop to xbox, my wi-fi internet doesnt work. i dont lose connection, it just doesnt load, the comp must think that any cabled connection is automatically internet.
Do you know how i can set it so the laptop sticks with the wi-fi for internet?

Dont matter any way you cant use wireless to hook up.
You must have a wire from xbox 2 pc and pc to modem.
the onley way around the wire is to run xlink of your router with thibor firmware.

ummm, dont think i explained it too well
if i have both connections on, the computer only tries to access the internet through ethernet LAN which is a dead-end to the xbox. whereas the wi-fi goes to through to the internet
