My son just oredered and received a mod chip--info listed below: We have no idea at all what to do next. We did manage to hook the xbox up to our computer via a router. That's it! We desperately need "Modding for dummies" to know what to do next. It seems as tho we have to first have a dashboard, something called .NET network, etc. it is all totally foreign to us. Can someone please send me an email with step by step instructions on what we need to do, the links to sites we should download each thing from, and exactly how to get hiim going. He saved up his money for a long time to purchase the modchip, and now he cannot mod anything. The good news is is that, after the modchip was installed, his xbox still works. Thanks so much!

Ok have you flashed the chip? if so download and burn AID to dvd and install a dashboard and other apps as you wish (emulators and such). But if you have not flashed the chip i recommend going to the tutorials page and finding a tutorial on how to flash your chip. _________________

ok you have installed modchip
you should see a screen called flashbios 3.0.3
you now need to find out witch xbox version you have to place the right bios to the chip
if you have a version 1.0 to v1.5 then flash chip with x2 5035 old bios
if you have a v1.6 or v1.6b flash with x2 5035 v16 plus bios
the bios can be found at #xbins or in AID4 download
you will need to make a bios dvd or cd-rw with the right bios for your chip
how too flash make bios cd here http://www.team-xecuter.com/flashbios/
once you have flash the bios to chip you will need to install a dash i sagest XBMC as dash
download AID4 from here http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/postt22059.html
this is a bit torrent a file that you will need a torrent app to open it (utorrent / bitloard)free download
once you have downloaded it read guide that come with it
then burn it to a dvd
then use it to install dash and apps
done
