Can i still have another dashboard installed that i can get out to?
Basically, i want XBMC to come on automatically, but i want the option to to exit XBMC and go on to a Genesis emulator etc every now and again.
Also, if XBMC is my only dashboard, does it handle all the FTP settings etc that a normal dashboard would?

you can run any other dash you like you can run the lot if you wish just install them in the XBMC app folder and the emulators in the emu folder and your backup games that are on hard drive will show up in xbmc that way you can boot to them thou xbmc
and yes xbmc has ftp option and all other dash that are in apps will allso

So XBMC can start/run apps from within it? I always thought you had to exit from XBMC to a dash, then select another app

Its all good man XBMC is not onley a dash but in my mind the onley dash worth the time it can do apps just go to programs go up a folder and you will see apps emulaters and games.
