Hi, when it comes to the original Xbox i know more than most, but i bought an Xbox 360 when they first got released, i had it just over a year and guess what... 3 red lights of death, so i sold the console for parts and thought "f#&@ it, i'l get a PS3", however now IMO i don't think the PS3 graphics are that much better for the £200+ extra so i have decided to sell some shit (including my beloved Xbox) and buy another 360, but the last thing i want is to lose all trust in M$ and have another fucked 360, so when i buy one and after the 1 year garantee has ended what do you recommend to almost completely "prevent" the 3RLOD", and dont say "buy a PS3" because i can't aford one , i will apreciate any help, and i apolagize if theres somthing about this already in the forums.

Microsoft extended thier warranties on the 360 for two or three more years and long as you still have your rereceipt.Just call them.Theyll fix it.

yeah, my friend has just been telling me about his 360 and he got it xmas 2005 and his broke the other day and M$ still replaced it, the problem is tho i was thinking ov getting a brand new one off ebay, would it still count for me?

It should aslong as you dont open it.Just call 1-800-4-my-xbox and ask them.My friends started flashing the three red lights and he called.They sent him a box to ship it it so he didnt have to pay for shipping he got it back in like a week.
