I have an X3 installed on my Xbox v1.0. I wasn't the one that installed the chip or the dash on my Xbox so I'm having a little trouble here.
I want to upgrade/update my dashboard. I'm currently running Evox (yes I know...not my dash of choice either) and I would like to replace it with another dash. I'd like to know what option I have to choose on my AID4 disc in order for it to overwrite my current dash. I would usually just go into the dashboards and install it on my E drive but I wanted to be 100% sure of what I'm doing. I have my Xbox setup so if you hold the power button, the chip's bios do not boot so I boot to the ms dash (I have the retail hdd so I can still play live), but if I just eject it or tap the power button, my hacked dash boots.
What should I do to overwrite my current hacked dashboard?
Thanks

You can use Avalaunch or XBMC. I prefer XBMC. _________________

That wasn't my question. I know what dashboards there are and which ones I can use. I want to know how I can safely make it so when I turn my Xbox on with the modded bios loaded that it loads to a dashboard of my choice (probably Avalaunch)....like I mentioned above, overwriting my evox dash for a new dash.
Do I just put the AID4 disc in, go to Dashboards > E Dashboards > Avalaunch ? Will that overwrite my Evox dashboard so that when I boot up it goes to Avalaunch but when I boot up my non modded bios it will still boot my msdash?

Yes use one click install for the dash of your choice and it will automatically default to it on booting up.
