Hey guys, I've read all the posts here, looked at all the tutorials I could find and am still a bit confused as to how to go about doing this correctly. Firstly, my most important question would have to be, do I NEED a modchip installed to sucessfully install XDK on my Xbox?
I have Visual Studio .NET 03, the XDK files, and Hex Editor. Aswell, I have a 1.6 Xbox and it is softmodded with SC exploit and AID 3.02. Tools/Utilities I've gathered from the "usual places" to attempt this are: debug bios, 5838 bios, and PBL 1.3.5.
My biggest concern is that if I attempt this I'll severly mess up my xbox
Any constructive feedback would be greatly appreciated You guys helped me make my xbox into an amazing machine and I'm hoping that it will only get better.
Again, thank you in advance for the help! _________________ Common sense isn't all that common.....

Well we can't go into too big of details, but you r question is ok I guess. You can't really do anything programming wise without a chip. You will need one to flash the debug bios to. The only thing you could do with a softmodded xbox is take screenshots. But get a chip, and you can do anything with it. Or jsut buy a debug xbox, which is a special M$ xbox made by M$ themselves, designed for programmers. _________________ Moddingbandit
I do softmods and solderless chips only. Just Pm me for details.

Thank you for posting this.
I did not know that a special Xbox was required in order to code for the xbox.
I thought that it could be done 100% on the computer.
