Is it possible to use the psp with the usb cable mod to allow it to be used as an xbox memory card to transfer the softmod files to my xbox instead of buying an action replay?

I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure I saw something about that somewhere. Really though, if your looking for a free action replay and you have an extra controller dongle and usb cord, all you need to do is cut off the usb connector and the end the controller plugs into, connect the wires by color (theres one extra, i forget what color it is), download a driver for the controller (dont remember where but I'm sure you can find it with www.google.com) and the action replay software (www.codejunkies.com). Using the adabter you made and a memory card you now havge an action replay _________________

Well I'm 100% sure you can transfer game saves with the psp just do the mod you told me but with a usb mini I saw a tutorial on a site but what I need to know is will I be able to transfer everything I need to soft mod with that method?
So do you think it will work if I splice the cables of the end of the xbox control and the usb mini cable because I can put the softmod files on my psp and then if I can then transfer them to the xbox with the psp's usb connection?

I dont really know much about the psp but I'm 100% it works with a memory card. Check out www.psp-hq.com _________________

Id just get action replay, because you get get gamesaves after that one use, and its easier _________________

Hi
You can use a PSP as an Xbox memory card. Works a treat. But only as a memory card, since Action Replay always crashes when you connect it. I tried it with AR 1.05, 1.31 and 1.40 before learning that the PSP can't be used as a card reader. Which means the memory stick inside the PSP is ok but PSP doesn't work.
