Thats strange... You have to be doing something wrong, if you followed the tutorial correctly it should work. Do you have ftp turned on in your dash? _________________

there is an icon that says start ftp well i press it it does not do anything

go to allxboxskins.com and look for craxtion 4.0 its a great xbox friendly ftp program i highly recommend it to any newbies.

Ok, sounds to me like you are posting the wrong ip. We don't need the actual ip for the internet, we need the ip for your network.
For example my PC is 192.168.1.2, xbox is 192.168.1.3 and the 360 is 192.168.1.4
Click on your start button, click run then type ipconfig all
That should automatically fix your ip issue. Then try connecting again. _________________

okay i did that and the command promp came up for a sec then closed then i changed my xbox's ip back to what it originally was but when i tried to connect it did the same thing

i also tried to ping it and it said that ping request could not find ipaddress 192.168.0.100

i tried a different program and it did the same thing
Here is what it did
Connecting to 192.168.0.100:21
Connected to 192.168.0.100:21 in 0.328125 seconds, Waiting for Server Response
Error reading response from server.
Connection closed by remote host.
