i have an xecuter 3 w/solderless option. my xbox has worked for almost 6 months now with no prob. now, i get a new game and want to load it to the hdd. when i power on, the system comes alive and shuts down 3 times, giving me the "christmas tree lites" after the third attempt at boot. any ideas? it does boot norm without the modchip attached, but wont when it is. any help would be greatly appreciated!

That pretty much means the Do is grounding the xbox to look for a bios on the LPC holes and it cant find it. Reseat your solderless part, it most likely has moved a bit because solderless chips do move from time to time.

most likely you need to reset your solderless install
