My son set a password up in X3 Live config. He has not played with the box in a few months. And has forgotten his password.

I have tried installed 3.0.3 bios back on, then back to 3294, but this did not reset the password.

How do I reset the password on the X3 dhip?

Boot up the back up bios by holding the eject and power button at the same time. Then reflash the chip with the X3_3294 bios and it will be a new bios. Then he will have to config it again but the password will be reset to nothing.

do you know password
if so flash it with x3 1892 bios then remove password then reflash x3 3294 bios
if you don,t go here
