is in possible to just reset the entire xbox . rest the settings in the xbox like resting everything with out reinstalling everything over

oh that could be happeing because you have your ip address set to (obtain address automatticlly) you will have to set the address manually according to the settings in your xbox _________________ xbox AID 4.10 80GB WD

what are you running?windows xp?you also should have a cross over cable.your ip adress on your xbox should look something like this 192.168.0.2 and ur pc ip address should be the same except the last number it can be any number beteween 1 and 99.It cant be number 2 though.

hey bro i know that is how you set it up but it kinda doesnt matter as long as the IP is different from the computers IP cuz my xbox settings are: IP 192.168.0.1 Gateway 192.168.0.1 DNS 192.168.0.1 this is how i set ine up but you are still right just just giveing status report on mine lol _________________ xbox AID 4.10 80GB WD
