when i plug my xbox hard drive into my computer, i go into my computer and it isn't there. could someone help me out please. i need to connect to my pc so that i can fix error 16.

The hard drive has to be unlocked to start off with and when you have done that. connect to pc and boot pc up i go into control panel then administrative tools and theres a program in there the hdd shows up in and format and then work as a normal hdd. cannot rember the program off top of head. but its a start.

You will need to do a hotswap, and use xboxhdm 1.9 to rebuild the hard drive, unless you have backed up your m$dash and eeprom.bin from your xbox to your computer. If you have then you will only need xboxhdm 1.9 along with your m$dash and your eeprom.bin files. The tutorials are on this site.
