Hello, I hope this forum is still active. Anyways, I have a problem. Today, I did a hotswap, and rebuilt my C:/ drive ( I had error 21) anyways, after it went retail, i just to re-softmod it, and instead of getting the actuall softmod, i got another error 21 code, and i got the evox dash ( This means that my MS dash isint working.) I mean wtf? It should work! Im using the AID for this method. Im using SC for the save thing. anyways, im doing another hotswap and trying it again, i just wanted to know if u can help. I dunno WTF is up with my MS dash.
installed it like this: ( Eject= MS DASH with error 21) and ( POWER= Perfectly working EVOX dash) How do i fix my MS DASH?????

Try putting the Game you softmodded with first and try to mod it again first. _________________

what exactly do you need your msdash for? since you didnt use the 4.5nkave edtion you cannot go on live... theres really no reason for the msdash...

He's right if your not going to use XBL Then you dont need Dual boot.
If you are then you need to load Sid 4.5... _________________

Thanks. I re-sfotmodded and still got the god beep error! is there sumething wrong with my ms dash? mayb its upgraded or something.

please refrain from swearing... caps lock is enough... and what exactly do you need msdash for?? and you need to back-up the ms-dash before you mod and use the mod screen to restore the back-up of the msdash, one of my boxes is softmodded and I can't access the msdash.. no real reason.. XBMC is way better

If you can still FTP into the xbox, I would recommend clearing the C drive completely and put in a clean copy (unmodified) of m$dash. (Also available in the AID3.1 download.) Also clear your cache files. Once sure you have the files correctly copied to your C drive, restart the xbox go into your gamesaves and delete whatever exploit you put in. Then copy the SID 4.5 files that came with AID 3.1 (Should be 2 files) via Action Replay and reattempt the dual boot option in SID 4.5.
