So I now have a 80gb hard drive and am going to upgrade to a 250 gb. I would imagine the steps would be the same to istall the 250 gb. So now once this is done and I unlock the xbox HD. How do I get the 80 gb to work on the PC? Do I need to wipe it clean and reformat? Is so I am not sure how this is done.

After I complete the above step. Let's say I want to back up a DVD I own and then load it on to the Xbox. How is that done?

Before you remove the 80GB, unlock it, then install in PC as secondary drive and use fdisk to create partition then restart PC then format the 80GB

dont use device manager, use disk management (under computer management) in XP to format the disk

No I can Not find the DRive in my computer. I anwered a previous question incorrectly.
I tried to change the boot sequence in my BIOS,. I think I screwed it up royally, and now i can't even get my Bios to open or run.
My current Hard drive is working though.
