Is there any way to create an XBOX HDD without having an eeprom or the HDD locking info?
The thing is I'm miles away from my softmodded box and just bought a new HDD. What I'd like to do is format the drive and load it with apps, music, etc. now so that I can pretty much just pop it in the XBOX later. I figure I could get the eeprom and stuff and then finish the job when I go home for Christmas and spend more time enjoying my XBOX than getting it to work. Is this possible, or will I need the eeprom and stuff when I first format the drive? What software should I use? Any tutorials I can go off of?
Appreciate the help, and thanks!
