I was reading some info on Awierdguys site at http://www.xboxchopshop.com and he speaks of most chips now coming with rebuild boards.
I've never heard of such a thing, can someone enlighten me on what a rebuild board is supposed to do? Is it some type of template for soldering? _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th

hes talking about a 1.6 LPC Rebuild board, its your basic solution all the wires you would have to solder on the motherboard heres a example.

The rebuild board is easier than wires?
I was under the impression that the board was to help guide the wires where you need them while one is soldering.
How does one use such an item?
(Edit) OH oh oh oh oh... ok. I did ye ol' google. Now I see what it does, so one still needs to solder but not wires. What an interesting concept. Hmmmm...
Now can I gather up enough courage to solder the board in place?
