I have a certain PC game that I was wondering if I could play on my Xbox, I don't know if I can list the name or anything without getting in trouble, but my question is....how do I go about finding out if this is possible as I am sure that it is not a very popular game with most people. Does any PC emulator play any PC game? Sorry I am a newbie but we have to start somewhere.
I do own the game, so i am not trying to install illegal copies of it.

Well, there are tons of emulators for the Xbox. Our HQ Emulator Autoinstaller has some PC emu's on it, but not sure if it's one you are looking for. Pretty doubtful.
What you can do is search google for the name of the game as a xbox rom..
for instance, If the game was called, Robotwat you would do a google search on,
Robotwat Xbox Rom...
Of course, replace robotwat with the name of your game
Then you would need to find out what emulator will play it. You then install the emu on your xbox, very very easy, then FTP the rom over. You can also burn the emulator and rom onto a disk and play right from the dvd/game tray.
