If you find out what is causing that let me know. I have the same post on a few other forums. I know someone who has the same issue, but there is a Xenium Ice mod chip and X2 4983.67 bios flashed. If you play a DVD movie does it sound fine?

I didin't install the chip all i did was flash the chip and run an AI for him, but just curious to know if you find a solution to your problem.

Yeah, same thing with his. He actually got these games to work with no static issues.

madden 2002,2003,2004
halo 1
nba live 2002,2003
all-star baseball 2003
nfl fever 2002-2003

I am wondering if some games have different audio streams that the xbox is malfunctioning on. It just doesnt make sense.

Let me know if you get any solutions, I'll do the same.

I like the star trek one with bones.

Static issue. hmm

no clues, but I would try the new bios if you ahven't already. Also, for shits and giggles, check out the contacts on the male/female ends of the a/v plug and internal components for any debris taht might be "shorting" something.

God this topic is old.. lol

My first suggestion would be to change the AV Pack and then flash the bios just to be sure.. Sounds like a hardware issue to me guys..

I doubt very much that the bios flash would fix it but then again i have been wrong before.. hehehe..
