Hey all, I have recently installed a few Jewel LED Rings that were purchased from customxbox.net
Does anyone know any other vendors selling these puppies??
I just think $27.99 for an 8 LED ring is a little steep. Not too mention they won't return any of my emails in regard to bulk/wholesale purchases.
I know they offer the blanks for 9.99 but am looking to not have to load them up with the LED's. It's always an option, but looking for them already loaded.

Not only are the 5.00 cheaper, but slightly different in design too.
They even already have the molex connector attached.

Well, I thought it was going to be a good idea to order from them. I inquired about wholesale ordering as I usually buy several products at a time. I was originally told that I could get a better price if I order 4 or 5 pieces...
So, I put an order in for 15 pieces ( One batch was 6 No Solder Jewels, 3 Green, 2 Blue, and 1 Red) but was told I had to order 4 of the same color to get a discount.. That means I would have had to order 12 of that one item just to get a discount!!!!
Same thing happened to the fans and clear jewels. I would have ended up having to order 36 pieces just to get a break!!
I'll just wait for customxbox.nets wholesale pricelist as I got an email from them today. He goes by dollars spent for the most part I believe. My original email from him stated that I would start getting discounts after $100.00 spent. We'll see how that goes!!

damn.. well as far as the fans go.. i've seen them for sale at a few local computer stores for around $6. so i dont think thats realy much of a deal... but i still get leds there... i wish they sold other colors than red blue and green. like maybe orange, yellow, purple... _________________ XBOX360

Dude, if you're not in a hurry for the LED's go to www.123leds.com
they are only 0.17 each in most colors..they have tons. They also have ones that blink to different colors and shit..
I say if your not in a hurry cuz I paid for 2 day shipping and it's been about five days. They didnt ship out until two days after I ordered. They are ran by the same people who run customxbox.net and it's a new site so I bet that prices will go up a little soon and their shipping will get quicker.
I also saw that customxbox.net lowered their led prices. They were like .69 each at one time, now saw they too are down to .17 for certain colors.

Hey, I am once again searching for a Jewel Ring vendor. Customxbox.net closed it's cyber doors until Oct 18th. The spanks at the xboxspot close their site down every other friggin day...not too mention I am already waiting on an order that I think is going to take till next fiscal year to get, and the other link that someone provided in this topic...well their idea of a LED jewel mod is to send you five LED's and a fuc$ing resistor....shit man... fuc#ing rainman knows that!!
I found a very very cool site in the UK that has the rings just like customxbox.net has...but I don't know what shipping time and cost will be like...not too mention the money conversion. I may just have to give them a yell. I'll probaby get them quicker than from the spanks over at xboxspot...did I mention they were spanks? Can you tell I'm frustrated..HA.
I'll have to post the site that I found in the UK as I know some of our members can probably take advantage of their services. They seem like a great bunch of people to do business with.
I think I am going to start producing LED mods (besides the controller ports) on my own to sell. I like the printed circuit board LED Rings the best. I think I am going to look into grabbing a ton of blanks and just put my own LED's in them.
