Lol been a long time but i finally got him to tell me. He actually used a program and created a special disc. This loaded something on the ps2, overwrote the bios i think. But it is the same as swap magic. you have to put a game in, shove a credit card in the slot and pull it out and then replace the original with the backup. I heard this can be done with a version 2 gameshark as well which i can get 5 bucks each. i guess there is no point and NO real softmod for a playstation 2!!!! GRR _________________

rozzombie post for sure thanks... BTW, hellblazer, you dont need any mod done to a ps2 the new one, the slimline one, you can play backups with just minor adjustments _________________

k, you gota adjust the locking system in the slimline. It opens from the top. So what u do is somehow adjust it so that while it is open, the ps2 detects it as closed. So, u push da clips that lock into place i think i am not sure cause i dont have a slimline ps2. So u push them down and tape them or something. Like using a paper clip. then, put in an original ps2 game. After it spins for a while and comes to the loading screen, stop it, remove it, stick in the backup, and it should work. _________________
